How can I get free bitcoin?
Memo uses bitcoin for all actions. Previously new users needed to fund their account before using the site. To make Memo easier, we added a built in faucet that pays for actions automatically. This means new users no longer need to fund their account!
Most actions use the automatic faucet, but some actions still require funding your account. These include:
Tipping and sending bitcoin
Creating polls
Creating tokens
Buying and selling tokens
The get funds page lists other ways of getting bitcoin. These were mostly used before the automatic Memo faucet and are not needed anymore. In most cases you will need to fund your account to use the advanced features listed above.
