Political correctness is partly based around that, people pay lip service to it to reap the benefits from being seen as virtuous without having to do any good deeds or even believing it.
Mormons are pretty nice in general, shame that apostasy has a social stigma though.
The world average that is documented (which is likely under reported) is 10/20% which is disconcerting, hope for a future with percentages tending towards 0.
