The rupture of Starship mk.1 was cool to watch. Slow it down and you can see what welds blew.

time to TWAT down some aliens and upgrade that spaceship into UFO... so eco, much green

To track SpaceX launches here is an app: SpaceX Companion - Launch Tracker https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.studionoorderlicht.spacex

A piece of human spyware who tracks Musk's plane ( yes, that exists too) : https://twitter.com/Paul91701736

The only planet that does not need colon-ization is Uranus

Next launch JCSat 18 / Kacific 1 https://web.spacexcompanion.app/launches/86

There's a +!!POSSIBILITY!!+ first 100 yrs Mars will be robot-only colony, until infrastructure is built, none of US will be left behind as none will live to see a completion.

Environmental cost is spiting nothing compared to annihilation meteorite hitting any of the two planets and turning them into a hot mess. One option more, is better than none.
391d
Yeah, it is laughable to tall about the environmental cost. Eventually we do need to leave the planet behind. No sense in colonizing worlds. Better to make structures in space.

Starlink network speculation.

How the private market is revolutionizing space.
388d
We would need some big ass technological upgrade or genetic alteration to be able to exist both in space and on planets, just out of pure practicality.
381d
I could imagine that any permanent colonies would evolve to be different surprisingly quickly. Several generations would likely be enough to notice visible traits.
381d
That said if we made large hollow habitats orbiting the Sun we could create Earth like conditions and have no problem.
381d
This is a possible, but massive engineering marvel, that we could use to live in space independent of Earth.
381d
Meanwhile the reality: we couldn't create closed ecosystems on a habitable planet, but don't let that get in the way of some tech hopium. :)
331d
meanwhile on Earth ... https://bch.gg/28u SpaceX's key plan to acquire a village in South Texas is on the verge of failure

“their rockets are not reusable ULA is a complete waste of taxpayer $” - &CrewDragon sploooshing down in ocean like a bag of batatas requiring extraction party is cheaper

There is a very important launch soon. Unfortunately I will be watching the Star Trek marathon ...

4 unfortunate souls will b ejected into orbit by some shady magic method inside of a small weird nugget ...

SpaceX as Thunderbirds!
. The best thing on the internet today.
