Not all of us want or care about usernames - we just want to participate in discussion whilst contributing to the BCH network
It is not possible to be anonymous here, nut fully at least, as every comment you write is tied to your bitcoin cash address.
Everything here is also stored and searchable to the end of the net or Bitcoin Cash.
Anyone that has their identity linked to their address are not anonymous no matter if they have a blank username here.
So I would argue that it is best to not hint towards users being anonymous here. Random characters and blank profiles is
I don't like this concept. I would rather see the PKH of someone who doesn't choose a username.
But I'll suggest that @Memo display the cashaddr rather than the base58.
Having the whole address as the username looks too long and untidy.
Or just show the last few characters of the address like they do on mttr.app
Show it as "Anon ~XijhCw", 6 last symbols. If collusion is spotted, add more symbols to the exceptions
Or "Anon" + relevant part of UNIX timestamp of the first action + collusion exception symbols
Anything that scales beyond Memo.cash private database
I would use a random name generator to come up with some funny names that makes a good start for new users.
