It is possible to build a kind of real-time Google Earth/Streetview using Internet connected phones and video cameras.

So obviously there are several problems, like people usually having phone in pocket, even interesting places lacking the cover you suddenly might need, and people streaming bad stuff
It would be possible to create a synthetic view that might be similar to the SONAR machine. We would only be able to see if people are broadcasting their video streams though.
Isnt that what periscope is? but you're talking about it at a much larger scale. & Aren't there many live webcams around the world. idk if they're indexed/searchable
