Censorship is increasing. This topic is for discussing more censorship resistant file storage options, as many traditional services seem to be increasingly censored.
I am not completely sure that making more censorship resistant solutions actually "improves the world". Generally, technical solutions to political problems tend to fail.
I believe there were grand claims that BSV could solve this problem by putting files directly on the blockchain. Is anyone up to date on this? Is BSV still a real option?
I suppose home storage has some value too. Suppose for example IPFS is/becomes corrupted, but another new solution comes along. You can then copy your homestored data there
I recall a similar discussion once with OneLawSanctury. He pointed out that images would need a level of moderation that text does not.
