If you read the article and look at their graphs you see the biggest problem with expanding clean energy is reducing nuclear power. Renewables, hydro, and nuclear need to grow.
It is a great article that does show how cheap renewables have become. We need a massive push for renewables. We also need that push for hydro and nuclear as well. Small modular reactors.
Putting small nuclear reactors in large facilities, and all ocean ships is very important to any real effort in fighting climate change.
