Lack of basic services and drinking water is due to too little
#capitalism, not too much. The correlation between economic freedom and income (including for the poor) is quite strong.
"Resource-Based Economy" without trade and money will always suffer from not having a way to weigh people's desires against one another in order to distribute resources efficiently.
