@spice_trader volume on the memo dex can indeed be faked for low cost if you switch to the 0.05 bch monthly plan instead of 1.5% purchase fee. imo trade count gives a neutral overview about general trading activity
30 day trade count ranking, prefiltered through simpleledger.info's popular tokens (monthly). Would be nice if this and also volume were implemented as metrics in the token section
Good point, but manipulating volume is way more costly that trade count. You'd be losing 1.5% of your massive sells to Memo, either way market cap is the worst way to order.
Ah I see, you're right. Would definitely be a good feature also because it's not that easy to spot the volumes manually. For trade count you just count the rows of each sales section
Just an idea, is #memo able to list tokens by volume instead of market cap. its so gameable. I can literally create a token, sell it to myself for a billion sats, and be at the top of the markets FOREVER.
I'd rather rank by trade count which I did some days ago. Every trade has to pay fees so faking can be expensive. Volume can be faked too if you sell a massive amount to yourself.

The admin said on telegram and twitter that they're currently changing their order matching algorithm. Maybe report this issue in their telegram channel.

In the token section, why are there no buy offers displayed? Is it only possible to list sell offers? Say for example if I wanna buy HONK @ 0.90 sats, is there a way to show that?
I guess it's somehow related to the available functions in the bch code. There is a SLP token dex that also can only display sell offers.
