Hahaha i remember how the very gentleman attacked me when I proposed you to work like that many months ago when you talked about breaking up with your ex!! Excelent job choice 💪🏻
thanks for supporting, go and buy one, I have to resort to it again
Had a great time rambling with Scott Cunningham about crypto, regulation, tax issues, and financial self-sovereignty. First time I got more viewers on Odysee than YouTube!
Roger Ver now finally recovering his credibility :D its two years later than promised, but it happened: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/mc63sl/you_can_now_spend_bitcoin_cash_at_tens_of/
Yes, I do remember him a few years ago telling that thousand of merchants would "soon" accept BCH. I wonder if it was Rakuten he was thinking of back then or something else?
Absolutely and robbing the thieves to then give it back to a social project like Bitcoin is, bro that is real hero shit.
I know these people personally. This is hardly their first time intentionally doing shit to get attention and then being shocked-pikachu at the response, playing at being Jesus figures
They defrauded the banks by misrepresenting the nature of their business.
They defrauded anyone who honestly thought they were making a charitable contribution to an actual church.
In all fairness, banks make it their business to defraud on a yearly basis, they have little standing when it comes down to it.
Somehow I don't think the Crypto Church of NH was running any soup kitchens or did more than a fig leaf of charity. Maybe I'm wrong; we'll see the evidence at trial.
BRO, USING BITCOIN IS ALREADY THE CHARITY!!! WE ARE LIBERATING THE WORLD POPULATION FROM US OCCUPATION!!! WE HAVE BEEN HARASSED BY NUCLEAR WEAPONS SINCE 75 YEARS!!
The Catholic church (which I consider to be a deluded, misguided, on-balance Bad for the World organization) at least does in fact spend a lot of time & money charitably.
Somehow I don't think the Crypto Church of NH was running any soup kitchens or did more than a fig leaf of charity. Maybe I'm wrong; we'll see the evidence at trial.
Actually I value your opinion about that paper more than the paper itself. So what is your opinion about the case?
My opinion is that Ian came up with a cockamamie scheme to make money using churches in-name-only as a tax loophole. Now he's shocked-Pikachu that he got caught.
He and his followers will now paint him as a Martyr for the Cause, and some kind of Ross Ulbricht figure.
I think Ross was an honest agorist businessman; I think Ian is a narcissist.
I'll be shocked if he gets less than 10 years in Federal prison. If his co-defendants have any brains they'll roll on him, tell prosecutors he lied to them, & serve much shorter terms.
When the jury hears $10M tax-free for "the Shire Free Church, the Crypto Church of NH, the Church of the Invisible Hand, and the Reformed Satanic Church", it's not going to be good.
This is not about Freedom to use Crypto, and these people are not martyrs for any cause except perhaps the defrauding of banks & diverting funds from primarily charitable societies.
