I can only speak for myself (and perhaps what I see from BCHN).
Since Amaury departed, BU has cotinued to support Bitcoin Cash fairly in its work.
I hope they remain committed to it.
I think May 2023 is fast approaching though & the changes for CashTokens are not exactly trivial. Although other C++ based clients can benefit from the implementation work done on BCHN
Let it be known here that at the start of the Bitcoin Cash Node project in 2020, we offered to Core's security team to have a responsible disclosure relationship between our projects.
As I recall they never even replied to our email invitation, which reached multiple people on their security mailing list.
bitcoin repo deleted a comment by Calin Culianu, and according to him, he's also banned from commenting at all on their repository now
