It's still there. ABC wouldn't be checkpointing if they weren't afraid of it.

Better have SV that wants legal global business usage than abc that wants PoS, checkpoints, bucket shops and pseudo anarchy coin that will be marginalized.

They let Core win. They really don’t know what they are doing. What is common knowledge for us eludes them. But I’m happy they don’t get it. Let’s me load up on SV.

Why do you say "Lock the protocol have no chance to win"? Internet protocol has been locked now for 30 years.

Everyone seems to think they have to reorg the whole chain. Why do people think that? Reorg like 10 blocks (repeatedly?), and already you have done much damage. Miners miss rewards etc

No way man. Look at the hashrates, the profitability for BTC is way higher right now, esp yesterday when SV's dropped to 1.1 Exa. ABC is using pools to fund this - they pay cust in BTC

Aren't we using SV by default on here?

i am realizing something... BSV is same as BCH and 1/4 of the value. And open to 128 mb scale ... maybe we will see something surprise here. Money Button is already on the BSV side. Hash power is now more on BSV...

Basically the txns between the checkpoint and when the re-org chain emerges will be frozen in time until ABC can pump their minority chain back to life. It will be a total cfusterfulk.

ABC - Another blockstream company.

BSV also has block explorers now. I built one www.svblox.com and there are some others like bsvexplorer.info

Ryan didn't say anything about getting sued as a direct threat from SV, he mentioned the cost of doing business on the ABC chain and working against patents held by nChain.

He is just misguided. Perhaps by his own mind. Perhaps by Jihan, who knows.

Maybe I'm not following enough people on Twitter (about a 1000) but I don't see unrefuted arguments for ABC there.

My conclusion is BMG pool had superior performance during stress test. How do I join the BMG pool? (Sorry Bitcoin.com, it’s only business)

We dont need CTOR for 1gb blocks...

everyone who uses `Faketoshi` needs to read this - https://archive.fo/kjuLi ...it would be dumb for CSW to actually prove that he is Satoshi; it's enough that Ross Ulbricht is in prison

ABC is the biggest threat to BTC - with ABC's upgrade BCH will make BTC look like a sad joke.
replied 1987d
SV did. Leaving damaging opcodes out is an upgrade compared to letting them in.
replied 1986d
Ok so you have that info right in your link. Businesses need a clear pathway to higher blocksizes. 128Mb is kind of small but it may do for now. At least showing some progress.

This is a limit in the size of OP_RETURN transaction outputs. Longer messages would require multiple transactions which we haven't added support for yet. Thanks for your question.
