You can use NFT on BCH
https://waifufaucet.com/ is a good example
https://github.com/simpleledger/slp-specifications/blob/master/slp-nft-1.md

I need to read up on the subject as well

@memo - is the repo gone for good or just moved to another place?

The last word of the recording sounds as if it was cut in the middle of the sentence with fade out starting a bit too early. Nevermind, good job!

Nice one! What's wrong with the audio at the end of the clip?

I wonder if the fork in Elon's Twitter avatar refers to BCH or some other crypto's fork :p

Yeah, though it makes the conversation a bit awkward because I can see the recieved messages but not the ones sent by me :p or am I using it wrong

Well, as long as it only goes gives the voter ability to sign a message to prove that a particular ballot has been cast by them it seems okay.
podany

Yes, such technology would be easier to sell with at least pseudonymity working.
podany

Another thing we should reconsider if anonymity is actually a required/desired thing in a direct democracy. Athenians voted by raising their hands, after all.

I am not going to pretend I have a good-enough grasp of cryptography and bitcoin to design such process :p
podany

You are right, it needs to be figured out. You could still maintain pseudonymity with the right process of generating addresses/distributing the ballots, which would be good enough.

@memo That's funny I get this fake Roger account recommended in "Whom to follow" :P

I'm just wondering, if eg. Catalonia could have its referendum done on blockchain.
It would be super-cool to use existing citizen IDs to distrubute the ballots permisionlessly

@memo Respect for the tremendous you're doing here (y)

Yeah, you're right. Polls are great! I had using tokens as voting ballots in mind but on second thought it seems possible to use transaction outputs as ballots without using tokens :)

Nice! What about onchain voting? Could it be implemented using tokens?
