SLP is on a downtrend & volume is pretty low - so I'm shutting down the cash back program. June 1st will be the last. Thanks all who held. SmartBCH & PMv3 will be the future of tokens
And then there were none - the experiment ends. Of all the SLP tokens I took a punt on, I didn't make my money back on any of them. Yours was the best, but a loser is still a loser.
@memo is there any plans to fix the incorrect balance issue because they dont take into account burned tokens?
Seems like this would be hard to do? Each token would burn them differently. btw Nice to see DIVVY kicking ass again - even if it's only due to lower BCH price.
Just look at the 179 useless shittokens I've got blocking up sats. And these are the ones that I just sent here after getting bored sending them to other token dumps.
No different to the crypto space generally.. something like DV has more backing it than "shiba inu". If they were worth sats you wouldn't call them useless so it's circular.
The market place was killed by the creation of billions of shittokens promising returns and pushed to the top of the market by fake trades.
No different from the rest of the crypto space..the momentum behind SLP was destroyed when crypto was taking off, along with one of the main reasons to use memo. Cause and effect
Any memo veterans remember the user Dos? Nice guy, bought tons of tokens so he got like 36 million DIVVY when I started the project - NOW has 12 MILLION $ATOSHIS just from DIVVY. 😆
Important SLP 🍺 announcement.
We started with 1000 🍺, just a moment ago I tipped the last 2 of that original 1000🍺to the winner of the wacky racer event.
I said I'd give them all away and I did 😁
Each one worth an entire bitcoin!! oh wait they aren't worth anything.. anyway I've got a few of them
Doooo sent you the wrong token first, sent a honey badger instead of a 🍺, could you send it back ? Don't think it's worth anything, I'm just keeping it for the memory :-)
It's easier to trade with cctip and bullrun on other coins is likely the main reason. Faucet's been up for over a year and staking has been running for months so more in circulation.
I think a buyback and burn would be better value for money than an airdrop IMO - presuming this guy has a finite supply
Well I think the takeaway is " don't leave large sums on here" which people should be doing anyway. I've moved back some tokens, but I'm keeping my balance low.
It's the only SLP token marketplace.. but the takeaway is that it's about as secure as MTGOX. If there was a hack where people lost money, I doubt the memo dude wouldn't be liable.
Been kinda busy yesterday and today and not been online much, What's the latest info on what happened to the memo/member accounts that got emptied ? Anyone find out anything? Any other accounts targeted ?
If memo were hacked, the hacker could monitor incoming user/pass submissions, thereby having access to private keys. They could also get this info with a DNS redirect hack. V. Insecure
