Driving 500km in a day is not very common, so you waste less time charging than refueling over the long run. A Tesla recharges in about 20 minutes now, so its bot an issue.
My winter trips are all 450km+. I can't wait to replace my current diesel truck. it can go 850+ km with normal driving. I'd happy with a 700km ev (700 when driving /w temp below 0).
Also having the ability to charge up to 80% in ~20 minutes would be a must.
So you want the tri-motor Cybertruck with over 800km of range by the sounds of it. It also charges up to 80% in about 20 minutes.
That range would be adequate but the design is too radical for my preference.
So at least the technology is there.
