It make a lot of sense to annouce it on a social media platform thats used by about 0,1% of the population.
replied 1569d
It is better to announce on a platform with 0.1% reachability than not to announce at all. Besides, how do you know it wasn't announced elsewhere?

As a hungarian, i check all of the "elsewhere" once in every hour.

Then spread the word in the right places.

hungary has 1 of the worst bureaucracies in Europe. Merchants generally aren't open to accepting crypto especially that there is no usable crypto-fiat payment processor in the country.
replied 1569d
Insult to injury that 99.999999999% hungarians only care about getting fiat rich if they get into it. It's pretty bad in all other countries but Hungary is even worse than the average.

Also additional note, that hungary is almost fully cash-only. Besides a few expensive places designed for western tourists and a few large supermarket, they wont accept cards.

Based on my travels, cards are widely adopted and used in hungary.

When you travel, you usually end up on the shiny side.

I am not registered to any of them. Also, cryptocurrency is not even used by merchants in the country. Coins are used mostly for second-hand trades and microjobs on IT websites.
