It's insanity, akin to thinking that buying into the dysfunctional BTC and ETH shitcoins weaken the fiat system.
Being an alternative to fiat does not require weakening fiat. If fiat currency ever stops being a thing it will take many life times, and a lot more than blockchain technology.
