I believe that both BTC and BCH can adapt the best aspects of each other to improve on their respective shortcomings; nothing good comes from believing they're beyond improvement.
With how Bitcoin Cash is designed, a lot of what's based on the second layer on Bitcoin (Lightning, Ordinals controversially, etc.) can be implemented on Cash's base layer.
My only question is why that hasn't been done yet.
