Browser notifications are amazing - I was notified about a new comment and a "like" when I was watching a video in another tab (allowing me to reply immediately - not hours later)
all right, I'm in member and it's on.
Some technical details - if you're on desktop, the browser has to be open to generate the notifications. On mobile, it doesn't need to be open, but if you've blocked notifications from
| the browser, then the notifications won't appear.
I checked that too on both computers. I get 1 time a notification in the left corner but the second and third time I replied it didn't do anything
Ok. Do I understand that you're replying to yourself? It will automatically disregard notifications for replies to self. But you should get one for this.
I don't know if this has anything to do with not getting notifications but when I switch on notifications I see on the bottom of the page a very tiny message: "TypeError: Cannot Read
You could try clearing out the cache on your browser for the site and reloading
I did, but still the notifications don't work
same in linux
yes, it finally works in Mozilla but still not for Brave
Try clicking on the 'Allow Notifications' on the settings page to resubscribe.
| Property 'Controller' Of Undefined"
I have no idea what it means
I digged into brave://settings/...
Most things required to get notifications where turned on but not all, so I changed that.
no, besides the red dot on the yellow bell no other notifications appeared.
