Worth watching. I wanted to believe in the promise of Spacex, but the whole aluminium-can solution for the trapped kids in a cave back in 2018 kinda burst my Musk-bubble.
I must have forgotten about that. One thing I never could make work was the spaceship-instead-of-airplane thing supposedly being faster and cheaper, considering rocket fuel consumption
But to be honest I was not 100% sure about even that (given the hype), and didn't bother to investigate further, and just forgot about it. But at least I wasn't an evangelist :)
I just worry if the Musk-myth crumbles then it may take a lot of the enthusiasm for human space flight down with it.
TBH Musk has his head up his ass; Bezos is doing it right. Mars base is pointless; we need (and almost have the tech for) O'Neill cylinders.
While I understand what you mean, to me, enthusiasm based on lies is a negative, not a positive. There is quite enough blatant disregard for truth in this world without it.
