Police are mostly people who want to make a difference in the community. Yeah there are a few "Bad" Cops. But you make it seem the police were hired by Hitler or something

Making a difference is a noble ideal. They were fooled.

Who determine's what laws are unjust, cruel, or wicked?
anarchovegan
replied 2433d
I'm not sure what you mean by that question.
I and you and anyone can certainly determine that, but what matters is what the police enforce - is this not so?
replied 2433d
The question is clear as day. And the only answer is just one's opinion. So to say all cops are bad because they enforce laws is ludicrous.

Have not all cops agreed to put people in jail for having a plant, marijuana?
replied 2432d
I don't smoke Marijuana so I could careless if it's illegal or not.
replied 2432d
I don't watch soccer/football, so govts might just ban it/make it illegal. That way we can get rid of all the hooligans and other idiots chanting in the streets. #LogicFallacy
replied 2432d
Whether they do or don't, it's still your opinion whether you want it to be legal or not. That goes for anything.
replied 2432d
You missed the point.
replied 2433d
I missed the point but you couldn't even answer my original question because you didn't understand it?
replied 2432d
Do you care about the hundreds of thousands incarcerated merely for possessing it?
replied 2432d
No. Why should I?
anarchovegan
replied 2432d
Holy fuck. Because people are being jailed based on arbitrary whim.
Do you also not care about the people who were incarcerated for possession of alcohol back in the day?
replied 2433d
I am 47. I have never been in jail. None of my family has been in jail. None of my friends have been in jail. The laws are made to protect citizens. If you don't agree, that's on you.

Who talked about luck?
replied 2428d
Sean Windingland From a friend: "That might be true for now, that he nor any of his friends or family have been jailed. But he is mostly lucky.

Thank you. There were 4 other responses, none of which talked about luck. Have you read those? Do you have a response or reply to any of them?

Do you only care if it directly affects you?
replied 2433d
If everybody didn't care about what directly or indirectly affects them we wouldn't have political parties such as Dems and Reps.
anarchovegan
replied 2428d
Could you explain this? I don't understand.
replied 2428d
People vote because they want things that directly affect them. Not because it affects someone else
anarchovegan
replied 2428d
How does voting directly affect you?
replied 2428d
Health care, medicare, social security, gun control, Paying 3x more on car registration... ETC. Lots of things.
replied 2435d
How would society surrender power? The police don't have that much power. 3 Police got shot trying to protect innocent citizens. Sorry but your statement is hogwash.
