I see what's the problem. I replaced the cashtippr button with a badger button script because the QR codes where not linking to my address but to wikipedia.

Transaction time-out rest.bitcoin.com sounds like the Badger API was down. If this persists you should file a bug here https://github.com/BadgerWallet/badger/issues

I just tried the plugin and its working. I also don't understand how yours links to Wikipedia? What you enter as BCH address?

I scan the QR and it gave a winipedia url instead of a bch address

you have to click on the QR code to see the real QR code. too expensive to generate so many QRs. Probably should change the msg in the smaller QR then. thx

Maybe make the interior all white/blank until users click it to generate the rest? Hastily drawn, but something like this -
