All BitClout content is now live on Member!

I just replied to a BitClout post. It is not visible on the BitClout network. I don't see the point of reading the BitClout posts here.
replied 1515d
What? Isnt BitClout a scam where individuals are impersonated? Or am i confused?
replied 1515d
It is true they have played it fast and loose with respect to cloning profiles from Twitter but BitClout is a very interesting project - very similar Blockchain architecture to

So we can see their posts... but if we interact with them, can they see our posts?
replied 1515d
No, not unless they log into Member. Member still posts content with the Memo protocol to BCH chain.

Is there at least an option to turn off bitclout content? Not sure what i think of this onesided relationship
replied 1515d
I think turn it off would be my preference as well. Not really sure why it was added

Member doesn't distinguish between different origins at the moment, but will consider it as an option for the future. Thanks!

So, if we are going to include other blockchain social networks, why stop at Bitclout? Is there plans to sync up with Steemit, Hive, Twetch, etc...?

Im personally not a fan of
replied 1514d
Possibly, yes. Twetch is a closed protocol on a private platform - not sure why they are using a blockchain. I hadn't thought of Hive/Steemit - but maybe. Member could facilitate

And then the next step i think is to send good

I agree that BitClout content should be turned off. It just spams the platform with useless content that we can't interact or send bitcoin cash to

Do BitClout users see the posts I make on Member? Or at least my replies?
replied 1514d
How does BitClout integration with member work?If I send BCH, how do they receive it? If they send me BcloutCoins how do I receive them? Can BitClout users send each other Bitcoin Cash?
replied 1515d
Cool. Is the plan to later incorporate content from other blockchains too? Member as blockchain media hub?
replied 1514d
That's one way to go. I don't want to see social media get balkanized on different blockchains. Better that your private key is your self-sovereign identity that can be used across
