Patreon is working well for lots of creators. An artist can already show a QR code for dozens of cryptos all trying to be "peer to peer electronic cash" to varying degrees of success
But I agree with that. It's what I want to develop for me this year.

Maybe get Patreon to take crypto, that would be worthwhile.
