I am guessing you don't have a background in nuclear engineering, or much familiarity with the design differences between RBMK and modern reactors. Russia still runs 10 RMBK's. Commies
The only thing I know is that when something goes right it is because of Communism, and when something goes wrong it is because of Capitalism. No thinking required. Easy Peasy.
But joking aside, I know that the outdated and flawed design of Russian reactors was and is a issue, the whole Chernobyl disaster was totally preventable and caused by trying to figure
out how to solve a problem related to safety in the most incompetent way possible.
And don't forget about (pointlessly) trying to cover it up for a few days after the radioactivity was belching over Europe.

If I remember correctly there was some Scandinavian country that picked up and reported the radiation first because of the radioactive air that flew in, trying to hide radiation lol.

US did not allow Citizens to tell anyone about the bombs that Japan dropped on US, but at least that was to prevent Japan from using the info to improve accuracy.
