Social media trolls didn't have any effect on the outcome of the election. Also the US and Russia have been meddling in each other's elections for decades.
They are having a bigger effect than you realise. Mostly the are helping the damaging polarization.
You can't prove they had a big effect. The burden of proof is on you, the person making the accusation.
