If by ecosystem, you mean social media, then that is not a clear indicator. Miners will always decide the fate of the chain and most run ABC. They need to work with ABC, not against.

Bad actors have to be sidestepped by majority otherwise this is no improvement over the fiat system. Imagine if you had no option but was forced to live under Blockstream's policies.
