Member is a discussion style interface to Memo content. It also supports a Geotag action, so posts can be linked to a location and viewed on a map.
I expect we will get alternative clients and implementations in due time.
No wonder BSV copied it except op_return bigger. Imitation is the... etc.
I prefer the smaller memos on memo.cash over the bigger ones on memo.sv, it forces to think twice, three or four times about the content being memoed...

Add to that the development/securing the blockchain with every broadcast/transaction. I like interacting with like minded folks while supporting bitcoin cash.
