Memo is really great. There is a ton going on here feature-wise. And the protocol is open so anyone can spin up a competing service.
Yet it needs to overcome the network effect of places like twitter.

What we need is a memo protocol front end which can compete against mainstream social media.
It's clear that the memo.cash site won't be that one (lacking/closed development)
people on censorship-resistant currencies and social networks was a problem of over-coming the network effect. Obviously no small problem. But not insurmountable.
So to do my part I'm going to start using memo on the regular and singing it's praises as often as I can. Power to the people ✊🏼
How do you overcome the gravity of such a strong network affect and attract a meaningful number of users to Memo?

ere. We need to outreach to the journalist on coming on board with us.
It's tough to get a lot of people to switch at the same time. We can ask people to make a special effort to use the service on one day, like they do with Shuffle Saturday . . . Memo Mo

But most people don't yet appreciate how looming the turn-key police state really is. Censorship isn't a problem most people deal w/ in a meaningful way each day.
