Forgot the part at the end where you pay insane amounts of money on insurance, employee benefits, equipment, land, buildings, dividend etc. and only pocketing a fraction of the profit.

The bottom line is employees have absolutely no investment, stake or risk in the corporation beyond their own employment.
Employees can walk away and find another job. Shareholders will eat dirt and burn their life's savings if the company goes tits up.
