Comparisons with Venezuela and Liechtenstein are pointless (LIE is tiny and VEN in civil war). I can roughly compare Germany with the USA. The comparison is unambiguous.
I found a better example:compare austria and germany:same language,same culture BUT austria has WAY more firearms per capita than germany and way less gun related homicides per citizen
