That is not related to Avalache. That is related to the DAA, where a fix IS being worked on for the next upgrade.
There is always variance. 10m is too long anyway. I transferred 5 different coins to the same exchange. Bch was by far the longest. We will see but the people saying all is well- wrong
The variance is waaayyy overboard with the current DAA. But yes, of course Avalanche will make 0-conf safe for exchanges in 2-3 secs. But it is not a quick fix.
