Real humans with real use cases do not use Open Street Maps... Google Maps is integrated into every Android phone by default... missing out on that market share would be stubborn.
Because life is short and there is just a very limited amount of attention to donate, I donate my attention to the masses, not to the geeks. Simply better time investment.
