I'm leaving memo.cash indefinitely.

I can't support a project which calls its early and main supporters "roaches" while signalling support for Bitcoin Statist Vision.

Give em some slack twatter :-)

Stick around my man.

You're making things up. Just because we still support BSV doesn't mean we have anything against BCH. The main memo.cash site followed the BCH chain, I'm not sure what more you want.

He's not making things up...

You can favor BSV, that's your prerogative. You should just be ready for users to leave because of it, that's all

What does Memo++ have to do with BSV/BCH? It's a post about wanting the blocking feature in the chrome extension.
replied · 65d
Did you not read the rest of the comment?

You liked a statement calling Memo users "roaches".
replied · 65d
Supporters from both sides have requested the blocking feature. I'm sorry if I liked a comment that may have been directed at one side. I wasn't paying attention to their affiliations.
replied · 65d
I get that, I'm sorry if I came off as accusatory. I'm not ready to look for a Memo replacement
replied · 64d
Why not make the blocking more like a "sort away" feature. On an open ledger doing a "hard block" in the UI is somewhat weird anyway, isn't it?
replied · 64d
Agreed, more like a soft "mute" function instead of a hard "block" function. Would be useful to mute spam bots etc.
replied · 64d
Yes! I'd like to mute the Dungeons and Dragons topic 😁
replied · 64d
Yes - even though it is really cool that people are playing it - it would be nice to be able mute it
replied · 64d
What if topic messages were hidden from feeds? Then you would only see them if you visited the topic specifically.
replied · 64d
But then you might risk that the topics are not getting attention... I would prefer to mute only certain topics
replied · 63d
I second that.
replied · 64d
True. Would it be possible to add an indicator on the front page for the 3-5 most recently updated topics?
replied · 64d
That's not a bad idea
replied · 64d
Just as long as there's still a fire-hose somewhere.
replied · 64d
Some of the best info comes from the firehose...

No worries, I'm taking a break anyways. Thinking of waiting until Calvin pulls his support of SV or runs out of money, it's dividing the Memo community too much
replied · 64d
I think the Memo communitty were more divided a few month ago. Now I see far less BSV shilling.
replied · 64d
Talking about developer focus as well, but having a partitioned community between two different projects is just not smart in general. I might make my own if SV takes a while to fail

Mengerian just realised that: https://medium.com/@Mengerian/why-i-am-leaving-bitcoin-unlimited-263f9c7a959b
IMO, BU should take a clear position: BCH or BSV.
replied · 64d
BU the organization, not the software implementation, right?
replied · 63d
Of course.
replied · 64d
Don't stop!
replied · 64d
Haha I didn't mean to upset you! Please stay, BSV trolls are not here anymore.
replied · 64d
No the DnD comments are understandable. I'm worried that the block function will make Memo defunct, I hoped to see it become more of an open Reddit than a closed Twitter
replied · 64d
That is, where users can follow communities they want updates on, and have to dig for others. Futility of censorship/echo chambers was one of the main reasons I had hope for this place
replied · 64d
I've said this before, but a blocking feature would ruin the platform. It defeats the entire purpose
replied · 65d
Where will you go to?
Will miss you, but I won't be leaving Memo
replied · 65d
:(
replied · 64d
Relax Twatter. Read on ;-)
replied · 64d
I wish you really left, I have you blocked on Twitter, one of the few. But you won't leave.
I might stay just to piss off retards like you, Sherry.
Please. We need a yin for that yang.
replied · 65d
Wow you gave me too many satoshis!
replied · 64d
Don't get stomped on a way out.
replied · 65d
I don't blame you, I'm thinking about coming back after Calvin exit scams

Prioritizing their chain over BCH is stupid, but it's not like the developments won't eventually work on BCH
