I remember many years ago, bitcoin is useless too. but Satoshi don't think so.
Bitcoin has been useful since people started doing economic activity using it. I don't consider speculative trading as economic activity.
The main problem is the lack of value proposition behind tokens and they can't do anything better than what bch can already do directly.

2013? that was the 1st significant flood of speculators and it's been a downhill ever since then. I've have been using Bitcoin since 2011 for real transactions.

Please refer to my other point too. Doing anything with tokens is an unnecessary extra step with no benefits.
Speculative trading is cancer, not anything positive or good.
Many years after, I am so sure some of the “useless token” (three or four may be) will be very important.
How come that other networks (eth being even bigger than BCH) couldn't produce anything useful with it?

yes, you right, but, sometime, great project start from a simple move.
you know, slp token can pay divident now. may be somedays, stock market will use SLP tokens too, who know.
This is the same speculation with an extra step.
