Any large scale operation
shuffling a group of thugs from one theatre to another is vulnerable.
Repeatedly invading too many "someone's hometown" is how militaries repeatedly fail.

I never heard of this before. Even if true (I doubt it is) however, surely they can do some transport around and get some of these advantages?
