Stock market is sliding pretty hard again, anyone else think this could be the last dump before the recession creeps in?
replied 1694d
Probably see-saw for a while.

Been out of stocks for a year. The valuations just seem too crazy. But then I guess you could say the same about crypto.
replied 1696d
young people don't care about boomer stocks. Everyone wants crypto.
replied 1696d
Yeah I expect huge spikes in crypto interest if it really is a recession, not just with young people either

Based on my XP older gen ppl started to take notice at the last ATH.

Yeah I would only hear Bitcoin brought up by older people as a joke, until BTC hit 20k. Then everyone who knew I held some was asking what the next Bitcoin would be
replied 1696d
This would unfortunately help BTC. If people are pulling their money out of the stock market to enter crypto, then they are just looking for a "Store of Value" No intent to spend.
replied 1696d
It doesn't take much for BTC to become unusable. No sane person would think that it's a good idea to store wealth in such a system.

I'm still hopeful that sanity will prevail.
replied 1696d
I agree it would help BTC, but I think that projects with better scaling roadmaps would flourish more. ETH skyrocketed when the BTC network crapped out last cycle
replied 1696d
Yeah, in the long run BTC is dead. It's just Bitcoin Cash still has a long way to go to be cash for the world. I only have 2 places that I spend BCH and both of those are online
replied 1696d
Adoption won't expand itself. If you have a business which you frequently use, then help on-boarding them and use BCH.
replied 1696d
Most of the places I use are chains. So you can't just on board one store or restaurant. But I do mention Bitcoin Cash everywhere I go, and they just look like deer in headlights.
replied 1696d
Not sure if it's the same where you live, but check if there are any restaurants near you on Menufy. If so, you can order takeout online with BCH, they all use Bitpay in my state

We're still on borrowed time since 2009. Public opinion is starting to catch up: why trust an obviously rigged system, when you can trust math.

Doubt it. The central banks finally started turning the money printers off, the market whined a bit, and they turned them right back on. They just won't let the stock market go down.

Bitcoin cash is a scam, this message will be in blockchain until BCH miners are editing blockchain again ... BCH Hashrate is lower than 1 month production of innosilicon devices.

XD

He'll still be copy pasting this when BTC fees and wait times make it impossible to move lol
