Does anyone *not* believe the BCH chain will be kept, even just as an interesting historical novelty, pretty much FOREVER? Even after posthumans no longer need blockchains, stuff we post on Memo will be preserved.

Dont forget, the internet is information super highway. blockchains provide the best way of recovery in the event of a catastrophy.
As soon as people see that information stored on the blockchain was readily available and ready to re-ingest back to the web the value of the chain will increase significantly.
well...to change that, alls you have to do is crash the internet, give it a week, and see what information is still alive after the fact.
we could create an outernet to contain all the evilness of the internet. and build internets around outernets that other internets have no access to.

Those social networks' data are proprietary, as are their databases. Have you ever tried to open a VisiCalc file created in 1988?
