on ETH there was a scam that went like this:
someone created a token
airdropped it to lost of people (to hype it)
held a lot for them self
dumped it on a dex
token became almost worthless
happened multiple times
Some token creator's are trustworthy. 🍺 for example lol!!
When price went silly, I pledged not to sell any and continue to give them away free. Which I have done :-)

I'm seeing a person create emoji tokens (which anyone can do) that don't serve any function outside giving a reaction and selling them
at inflated prices with no group consensus that the emojis are the official token of that emoji or anything like that to give it value
