Mark my words, he would never come here ever. Even if it is such a better option, more than likely his arrival would prompt the alert of Memo.cash webhost to ban the site.

It's like I've said before, we need a clientside application that does not rely on a website whatsoever. Blockchain immutability is pointless when it can be shut like any other website

Something like Member?

We must do better than that.
Domain names are the Achille's heel.
Without FQDN SSL is broken.
The idea of an 'app' does not work either.
We need to find a better way quickly.

Member works fine with p2p without a domain name.

Do you mean as an installed software portal ?
That inspires a thought....

Members/memo's only problem is UX.

I invested into correcting this with a new platform.

You know that you can just contribute on GitHub, right?

It's very hard to make an existing project take a different path especially as a newcomer contributor also memo is a burden on the development of member.

What underlying protocol issues are there?

(Not talking about UI)
replied 116d
the 220byte op_return limit is the most pressing issue currently imo (easy to fix tho).
replied 116d
So nothing to do with memo then.
replied 116d
The memo protocol itself is very limited (not enough actions) and its development is pretty much non-existent.
replied 116d
Then expand it!
replied 116d
I rather rewrite it from scratch.

That sounds interesting.
Is it decentralized and have encrypted messaging ?
