What do you guys think of stablecoins? Temporary tool? The future? Pure trash? 🤔
Tbh. pure trash, but also kind of a tool. However, I hope things like AnyHedge can remedy the need for stablecoins in time.
No idea what AnyHedge is, but in general stablecoins inherently require a trusted third party. The whole point of crypto is trustlessness. The Internet is an adversarial environment!
I preferred the crypto days before stablecoins,when btc was actually useable as a currency...it felt so good paying for food,games,flights,buy p metals and so much more.
But stablecoins were required more when the exchanges started getting real busy in a volatile market and something stable became a need for traders.
Temporary tool to escape short/medium-term volatility. There's also BCH Bull but it has its limits.
