The government doesn't like air travel because someone might get some crazy video of some alien UFO, that is why they don't want to make air travel cheap and affordable.
Far more people died in the Titanic compared to the Hindenburg, so that really isn't a good excuse.And, I wouldn't be surprised if the Hindenburg was actually sabotaged."it was subjected to constant bomb threats—including some before its final flight, which led to suspicions of sabotage in the disaster."
