I honestly dont think theres anything they can do about it. It would break all of their api's.

If push comes to shove, law enforcement won't give two shits about how many precious API's you break to remove the content.

But at the end of the day it will still be in the blockchain that they cant shut down unless they flood it.

There has been controversy regarding the idea that anyone running a node could be legally obligated to remove the content or simply be forced to shut down to remove content.

So basically be given the ultimatum of "remove the transactions and risk being unable to operate without consensus with the network or shut down entirely"

I have thought exactly the same thing. I suppose they can go after applications like memo first, though people can still read the stuff raw from blockchain or use OSS tools.

But then sooner or later some big entity (country probably) is gonna go ballistic and outlaw certain blockchains. I.e. if you post lots of Falun Gong stuff, the chinese will ban chain
