Yup and Atheist extremists end up like Marx and Hitler.
replied 1350d
There is no such thing as an atheist extremist. Hitler used Christisnity to influence Germans. Communists setup their leaders as gods. Neither is an example of atheism.

Communism is completely based on atheism. Marx and Mao being the greatest examples.
replied 1350d
Communism is not based on atheism. Communism requires the people not to listen to so other higher authority is the issue. It doesn't like the competition. It is almost a religion.

That's what I says.
replied 1349d
Exactly, so communism is not based on atheism. By definition it can not be.

It is absolutely based on atheism otherwise it can't fly anywhere.

Explain how it is a basis o socialism. Why is it more fundamental than say the elimination of private property rights? How is worshiping the leader/state a form of atheism?
TrashPosterInTheDark
replied 1349d
Because without atheism the state cannot impose itself as the supreme authority. Theists in all its forms will always see the state as an inferior form of authority.
replied 1349d
Setting oneself up to be seen as a God does not make one an atheist leader. They seek to replace God more than deny God.
TrashPosterInTheDark
replied 1348d
You cannot replace God before you deny it. Otherwise it's an oxymoron.
replied 1348d
Replacing one god for another is not atheism. Either way it doesnt make atheism the basis of socialism so much as the elimination of private property rights is the basis for socialism.

TBH I don't think any socialist ever considered their government to be litteral gods. The highest form of authority yes but gods I don't think so.
replied 1348d
TBH I think most Christian's and Muslims do not consider their God a highest authority. It seems most people just do it because everyone else is doing it. Only extremists are believers

Well, you clearly have shown your complete ignorance on the subject. Congrats!

You like to make such bold declarations, yet you can never back them up.

You should begin to read both the Bible and the Qur'an if you want to have a credible opinion on them both and have meaningful discussion. It's kinda of obvious you haven't.
replied 1347d
I have... you have yet to make one single argument to support your views. Try making sense, it might help.

lol yeah sure. You don't even know their main talking points so how am I supposed to believe you?
replied 1347d
I do not reduce my knowledge to only talking points.
