That's a misrepresentation, he says it's unfortunate, He's not telling you to fork he's simply looking at the bright side which is that we participate in a wonderful system which allows participants to fall out of consensus if they so choose.
I don't think it's fair to call it a misrepresentation as I'm including the original tweet. People are free to conclude my interpretation is incorrect, but it's all above board.
