I have been trying for a long time to find out why memo usage is stagnating. And I don't think it is because it is dominated by crypto people.

Community involvement is the key. In busy.org we had hundreds of non technical users filling up issues in our github or communicate with devs in discord. It's not the case here

Not even the whole BCH community uses Memo or member. We have just over 100 users a day. Some may have multiple accounts.
UX is not very good and Memo is closed source which in my opinion is slowing dows its development. Even so, I believe there's a lot of unseen potential here to be utilized.
