What you describe is the same thing that has happened in every single country with socialism or communism... Humans are corrupt they should not be given that much power.
Socialist narratives are hard to disprove to people who have not seen its real effects. Even if they have, the question is how to know that socialism is the culprit
Some make "we should share" ideas a core of their thinking, and they will disregard all criticism of socialism as propaganda made by evil people. Educating people on this is super hard

It's nice that they have a lower standard then the United States but bringing the United States down to their standard is not the answer. Our healthcare is still the best in the world
