Agree. We shouldn't be afraid of uncertainty. If it does get rejected, it probably means that the idea will lead to some breakthroughs, I guess.

directly to 'order of magnitude' improvements,
not by being correct in any aspect
but simply by revealing perspectives never considered.

And it can be said that the attainment of a beginner's mind would be promising. However, some don't wanna face the harshness of the possible consequences, we can't really blame them.
