Good luck! Just curious, though, why is the number of frames per second so low despite the processor being a hexacore one? The resolution isn't even that high as well.

It barely works. I havent optimized it properly yet. Just made it working a few days ago.

I plan to reach playability on this chip aniway.

I also don't know if he has a RTX GPU, but running raytracing without RT cores while possible is also a bad idea...

People dont have GPU-s. You have to write software for the masses to be able to earn money from them.

Everyone has a GPU, just not a RTX GPU so i get your point. But why would you sell a raytracing demo with 3d anime characters that struggles to run at a single fps. Who's buying?
replied 1406d
It might be a cool thing to play around with, but I'd hardly call it a marketable idea...
replied 1406d
This is not directly for sale, this is a testcode that allows me to write and test the ray tracer within my 3d engine, which will coexist with my regular rasterizer in the code.

Maybe I'm being a tad harsh. I mean, did you ever want me to test performance on my setup? I have a 2080 Ti
replied 1406d
Thankyou but my previous software releases also dont use hardware 3d rendering, so your gpu would just smug at them from the socket.

One of my software (a 3D RPG game maker engine) if you are interested in such things:

I made like 30-40 software like this in the previous decade.
