Why do you think that rules can only exist in the context of there being rulers?

Are the only rules that can exist, laws?

I had a similar conversation with Sue Venable and presented an example of making up games.

I think I might disengage.
I'm tired of him deleting the memo post replies.

"...what is this memo thing?"

Uncensorable Twitter because it's on the blockchain and immutable with an extensive reply system that you can pair with a longform like Matter or Yours, and tip people money as BCH.

His reply:
"Because rules without rulers are simply suggestions that people are free to ignore."

What is a ruler?

"...a ruler is one that makes rules and has the power to enforce them."

Are rulers exempt from the rules?
Can they ignore the rules?

"Everyone is exempt from the rules because of autonomy. They are not however, exempt from the consequences of breaking them. Autonomy is a fact of existence.

That is exactly the reason force is necessary to enforce political rules of a region."

What consequence do politicians face?
What consequence does government face?
How are the pedophile priests and politicians accountable?

Do people not enforce rules made consensually? Do people not disengage and respond accordingly when the agreed-to rules are broken?

The difference between rules as suggestions and political rules is force?

"Political rules without enforcement are useless. A perfect example is the things that pedophile priests and politicians get away with.

I'm pretty sure there are rules against most of those things, but they aren't enforced against them by the people who are supposed to hold them accountable."

If you're exempt because of autonomy, but not exempt from consequences, would it be accurate to say that no one is exempt from consequences?
anarchovegan
replied 2895d
"Ummm, yes? All action has consequences? This seems obvious."
